The University of Wrocław is pleased to invite you to attend the upcoming XI International Biblical Conference “The Bible and Biblical Apocrypha in Translation, Interpretation and Tradition.” The main topic of the 2024 Conference will be the translation, interpretation and reception of the Bible. The conference will be held on 16-17 May 2024 at the Research Centre of the Wrocław University situated on Raszkowska Street, 21 in Ostrów Wielkopolski.All theologians, philologists, historians and other scholars, whose research subject area is related to the Bible, apocrypha literature or the Biblical tradition are welcome to take part in the conference.
All persons interested are invited to send abstracts to pracownia.biblijna@uwr.edu.pl by the 15th of April 2024 at the latest. The abstracts should be written in Polish, English, French, German or Italian and not exceed 200 words. The list of speakers will be announced on the 25th of April 2024 and all the candidates will be informed about it via e-mail. The conference fee is 290 PLN (60 EUR). There will be also a possibility of online participation.
