North American Syriac Symposium: June 27-July 1, 2027 at Vanderbilt University

 

Vanderbilt University Divinity School is pleased to call for paper proposals for the 10th North American Syriac Symposium to be held June 27-July 1, 2027 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Proposals for papers and panels are due November 15th, 2026.

The symposium theme is “The Teaching and Study of Syriac”. The program will feature an exhibit on Syriac in North America, a pre-conference workshop by Syriaca.org, and student panels to encourage undergraduate and master’s students to also present.
