The newly-formed NAPS Student Advisory Board (SAB) is a body that will operate in the interests of the student members of the North American Patristics Society, seeking the betterment of the general student experience within the society, at its meetings, and in our particular pocket of academia more broadly. The new board consists of the following members:
Carson Bay – Chair, Florida State University (and Student Member of the NAPS Board of Directors) – cmb14k@my.fsu.edu
Jeremiah Coogan – Co-Chair, University of Notre Dame
Tracy Russell – Secretary, St. Louis University
Michail Kitsos – Communications Director, University of Michigan
Travis Proctor, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Northland College, has generously agreed to act as Faculty Liaison to the newly formed SAB.
The members of the SAB will change annually, and thus we would like to issue an ongoing invitation to graduate student members of NAPS to apply for any or all of the positions within the SAB. Elections for this year will be made after this year’s meeting but before the close of the call for papers for next year’s meeting.
