Call for Proposals: Edinburgh Studies in Middle Eastern Christianity

Edinburgh University Press is pleased to announce Edinburgh Studies in Middle Eastern Christianity, a new monograph series on Christian communities connected to the Middle East in their rich contemporary diversity and across all chronological periods. The series employs the unifying concept of Middle Eastern Christianity to recenter scholarship that has often been undertaken in tiny enclaves, whether divided by historical period, cultural identity, nationality, or denomination. By drawing these areas of research together, the series will provide a forum for cross-disciplinary exchange informed by the history of Christian communities in the Middle East and conscious of their present situation. For more information see the series website http://www.edinburghuniversitypress.com/esmec. To discuss your idea or submit your proposal, contact either the series editors Deanna Ferree Womack and Philip Michael Forness at deanna.f.womack@emory.edu and forness@em.uni-frankfurt.edu or Nicola Ramsey, Publisher for Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at nicola.ramsey@eup.ed.ac.uk.
