The Pappas Patristic Institute at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology is pleased to announce a limited number of scholarships to help students, faculty, and scholars without sufficient institutional funding to attend the 2024 meeting of the North American Patristics Society (May 23-25), in Chicago, IL. In a year which features both a NAPS and Oxford conference, it is our hope that this support will alleviate the financial burden on scholars and contribute to the continued growth of patristic studies.
The amount awarded for each scholarship is $500. Funds are unrestricted and may be used to offset the cost of registration, travel, accommodation, or any combination thereof, in the absence of other sources of funding.
Eligibility
Applicants must certify that they will be presenting at the 2024 NAPS conference as part of the approved conference program.
Applicants must certify that the cost of their attendance at this conference has not been (and will not be) covered by their academic institution or by other grants and scholarships.
